In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for the management of the flow of business requests through the demand funnel, engaging with stakeholders and the delivery of effective and timely allocation of resources and skills across the Group including managing a small team of technical and functional experts.Some Key Responsibilities of the Senior Demand and Resource Manager will include:Manage pool of technical resources for deployment into business engagement activities and across Projects as requiredRepresent and advocate for business lines in the Demand prioritisation process,Provide a single point of contact for Demand initiation to the Business, including Initiative requests, ongoing communication, escalation, and delivery issue management,Providing advice on strategies to optimise the use of internal and external resources.Forecasting resource demand and identifying risk areas by monitoring, reviewing and reporting on resource allocation and deployment.Advising on realistic expectations for resources and providing alternate resource solutions where applicableProvide coordination and collaboration of Group Technology Resources to deliver against Demand requestsExperience/Qualifications:Experience in the Mining sector is desirable,At least 10 years experience in an IT Service Management environment,At least 4 years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organising, monitoring and controlling IT initiatives,Highly organised with impeccable attention to detailExperience in managing a teamExcellent communication skills and an ability to communicate technical directions in simple, clear languageCustomer Service focus and an understanding of delivering to agreed Customer requirementsAs a Company, we promote a collaborative culture at Perenti.
