Mark was appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Perenti in September 2018. Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry throughout Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Americas.
Mark was appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Perenti in September 2018. Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry throughout Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Americas. Prior to joining Perenti Mark held several executive roles with Thiess and Leighton Contractors, as well as various operational leadership positions with Henry Walker Eltin and Macmahon.
His expertise spans underground, open cut and process engineering operations across a variety of commodities including iron ore, gold, copper, diamonds, nickel and oil sands.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree (honours) from the University of Western Australia and an Executive MBA from the University of New South Wales (AGSM).
Mark’s strategy and growth expertise coupled with his operational experience have fostered a strong understanding of the success factors that drive business performance in the mining industry.
Peter Bryant

Peter is an experienced CFO and was instrumental in the Barminco acquisition. He has served in various executive roles in different companies in mining, renewables and media.
Peter is an experienced CFO and was instrumental in the Barminco acquisition. He has served in various executive roles in different companies in mining, renewables and media. His experience spans financial and management roles with both public and private companies. Peter started his career as an auditor for a global consulting firm, working in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. He is a Director of African Underground Mining Services (AUMS) Ghana, AUMS Mali, AUMS BF and AUMS Tanzania. In 1987, Peter was awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry, working for both mining services providers and mine owners in Australia, Asia and Africa.

Prior to joining Barminco, Paul held executive and senior leadership roles at mining and civil construction companies in Australia, Asia and Africa.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Scott Winter

Scott’s experience in mine development together with his strong hands on technical and operational background give him a keen ability to understand how to best establish and generate enduring value from green or brownfield assets.
Scott’s experience in mine development together with his strong hands on technical and operational background give him a keen ability to understand how to best establish and generate enduring value from green or brownfield assets. Scott was recently the Managing Director of a coal company and lead the acquisition and development of a greenfield coal mine in Australia and prior to this held various operational and leadership roles within the Thiess organisation.
Scott has a broad range of technical, operational and construction experience having worked in both underground and open cut operations across a range of commodities including coal, copper, lead zinc, iron ore and lithium.
He graduated with Honours in Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland in 1993 and completed an Executive MBA at Melbourne University and Kellogg School of Management.

She has significant experience leading operations, feasibility studies, greenfield and brownfield development projects, corporate functions and joint ventures in complex business environments across a wide range of commodities (iron ore, aluminium, nickel, gold, mineral sands, tantalum, tin, oil and gas).
Vivienne holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Metallurgical Engineering, with Distinction) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia) and a Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) from Deakin University. She is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

He has led multi-disciplinary and globally diverse teams in both contracting and operating companies and has a proven ability to lead across cultures. Ben’s experience includes the implementation of effective HR and HSE strategies, coaching and leadership development, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as delivering effective resourcing and diversity outcomes.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Business (Double Major, HR and Sport Management) from Edith Cowan University Western Australia and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from Rice University – Jones Graduate School of Business, Houston, Texas.
